The Embassy of Ghana in Washington, D.C. is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Ghana to the United States. It is located at 3512 International Drive, Northwest, Washington, D.C., in the Cleveland Park neighborhood. It is the flagship of Ghana’s public diplomacy in the United States (U.S.).
The Embassy of Ghana in Washington, D.C. is one of Ghana’s largest missions in the world and serves as the official link between Ghana and the United States. Ambassador Alima Mahama (Hajia) is the current Ghana ambassador to the U.S. and the first woman to hold that position.
The Embassy is closed for visitors and phone calls on weekends and official holidays (see link below). In case of an emergency involving a Ghanaian citizen, please call the Embassy at +1 202-686-4520 and follow the instructions.
