Ghana Embassy in Washington DC’s attention has been drawn to delays in the delivery of passports of applicants who chose FedEx Express for their returning mails.
These delays particularly affected clients whose mails were picked up by FedEx Express from the premises of the Shipping Agent, Ghana Travel Consultancy on the 4th, 5th and 6th of May, 2022 (numbering about 350 parcels)
A query sent to FedEx Express by GTC unearthed that, FedEx Express encountered technical challenges with their automated fraud detection models with parcels trapped in their various hubs, while sending mixed signals to customers.
The mission is in contact with GTC and FedEx Express, to ensure that every parcel is accounted for. Meanwhile mission deeply regrets the inconvenience the situation has caused to its invaluable applicants. Read FedEx “Release……..”
