Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has announced the assumption of office of Honorable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa as Minister for Foreign Affairs, effective Monday, February 10, 2025.

 

In a circular dated February 11, 2025, the Ministry called on all staff to extend maximum cooperation to the new Minister who prior to the ministerial appointment is a Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency in the Volta Region of Ghana.

Effective 27th February 2025, there will be changes in VISA and Passport Application Procedure. Applicants will need to create an account to submit their visa and passport applications . Once  an account is created , applicants can login to submit their visa and passport application online via their created account

NB: Applicants with existing applications will also need to create an account and use the "RETRIEVE AN APPLICATION" button once logged in , to retrieve their existing application
