Beyond the Return & Ghana Tourism Authority Officials call on Ambassador Mahama

On February 20, 2024, a delegation from the Ghana Tourism Authority and Officials of the Beyond the Return paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador of Ghana to the United States, Her Excellency Hajia Alima Mahama. They are currently on a tourism drive and also participating in Black History Month activities in the United States. They briefed the Ambassador on the upcoming events planned for Black History Month 2024.

Akwasi Agyeman, CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority and Socrates Safo, legendary Ghanaian film producer and Community liaison of the Beyond the Return as well as Annabelle Mckenzie, Director of Beyond the Return Secretariat formed part of the delegation.

Ghana Tourism Authority and Beyond the Return have partnered with Howard University in Washington DC and the Black History Festival in Columbus, Ohio to have important events that continue to build bridges.

Ambassador Mahama encouraged the delegation to carry on their great work and continue to seek bridge-building cultural opportunities that seek to unite not only blacks, but persons all over.

The Ghana Tourism Authority will also coordinate the premiering of the animated movie Tun-Tum – The Revelation at Howard University where Ghanaian artist Samini will also be a featured speaker in the Return Conversations.

NOTICE OF PREMIUM APPLICATION CENTER


Ghana visa and passport applicants are hereby informed that an additional
visa and passport application service center – Premium Application Center (PAC)
has been opened in Washington DC, located on the 2nd Floor of 1025 Vermont Ave N.W.
DC 20005.
The PAC shall receive Ghana visa applications, capture biometric details of Ghana passport applicants, and process the same to the Embassy for issuing at an additional fee of fifty-five dollars ($55.00) for their premium service to clients.
To use the services of the Premium Application Center for your visa or passport application, select Washington DC -Premium Application Center.
The Embassy of Ghana in Washington DC however continues to provide its
normal services to the public. The PAC is therefore an option that is made available
to applicants at their own convenience.
