POLICE CLEARANCE REPORT

Police clearance is a document issued to Ghanaians living at home or abroad upon request.  The clearance is also extended to foreigners who have lived in Ghana for 3 months or above.

Ghanaian residents currently living abroad are also eligible to apply for a police report may do so by submitting an online application on the Ghana Police Services e-Services website or may appoint a representative (relative of friend) to apply at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) headquarters in Accra on your behalf.

If you resided in Ghana previously but currently in a foreign country and need a police report, you can register and submit your application online on the Ghana Police e-Services website or you may appoint a representative (preferably a relative or friend) to apply at the CID Headquarters in Accra on your behalf.
