Evacuation notice to Ghanaians and resident permit holders

The Embassy of Ghana, USA, wishes to inform for the urgent attention of all Ghanaians and Ghana resident permit holders that Emirates Airlines will fly from the United Arab Emirates to Ghana on Monday, August 17, 2020 and Thursday, August 27, 2020.
- Interested persons who are willing to pay for the cost of travel should visit the Emirates website as soon as possible to book a flight from their current location in the United States to Ghana. Travelers are highly advised to make the appropriate arrangements to arrive in the United Arab Emirates on time to connect with the flight that will leave for Ghana on Monday, August 17, 2020 and Thursday, August 27, 2020.
- All persons would be required to adhere to a mandatory 14-day quarantine at the hotels below with corresponding cost to be borne by evacuees:

NB: The cost of quarantine which includes boarding and meals should be paid directly to the preferred hotel prior to departure from the United States.
- Only persons who have made payments of their hotel reservations would be permitted to board the flight. Persons who successfully complete their hotel/ flight bookings should visit www.ghanaembassydc.org/reservation to submit their final evacuation information upon completion of the process.
