H.E. Ambassador Alima Mahama presents copies of letters of credence to Ambassador of Mexico

Her Excellency Alima Mahama on Thursday August 4, 2022 presented copies of her Letters of Credence appointing her as Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to the United Mexican States with residence in Washington DC to H.E. Esteban Moctezuma, Ambassador of Mexico at a ceremony held at the Mexican Cultural Institute in Washington DC.

 

Her Excellency Alima Mahama was appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to the United States of America in June 2021. Besides her accreditation to the United States, she is concurrently accredited to Mexico, Costa Rica, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Marshalls Islands, Micronesia and the Organization of American States (OAS).

 

Since she took office last year Her Excellency Alima Mahama has paid courtesy calls on a number of Ambassadors from various parts of the World and has had discussions relating to bilateral relations between Ghana and their countries.

 

She has also had interactions with Governors and state officials in several States in the United States. Her Excellency Mahama is committed to promoting trade and investment opportunities in Ghana and most importantly seeks the welfare of the Ghanaian community in the Countries under her jurisdiction.
